Marial Apostolic Movement |
Introduction:
The Marial Apostolic Movement is a Christian movement which was founded in Lebanon in 1973. He follows the advice of Patriarchs and Catholic Bishops of Lebanon.
The Marial Apostolic Movement was born from a need expressed of several faithful to live the spirituality of the oriental church and of the Vatican II Council. This movement is a movement of church; it acts in close collaboration with the ecclesiastical authorities with a spirit of sharing and obedience.
This movement therefore is inspired by the spirituality of the oriental Churches and is open to the universal church. It wants to be embodied in the reality of the church of which it emanates, and wants to be open to all demonstrations of the Spirit in all the church. In this, the movement has a local coloration and a close communion with the universal.
We discover the identity of the movement through its guide published for the first time in 1976 under the title "Light and life" Guide of the Apostolic Marial Movement.
Our Purpose:
Marial spirituality is the spirituality of the Marial Apostolic Movement. Theological Virtues (faith, hope and charity) are the first virtues that must live a member of the movement. The obedience, the availability, the humility and the service are virtues that must orient all the life of the member that is called to contemplate these virtues of Mary and to honour the "Blessed", face and mother of the Church.
In Montreal:
the Marial Apostolic Movement brings together people who seek to deepen their faith. Their meetings include prayer, discussion on the Bible, spiritual matters and the testimonies of life. The movement also helps in the various events of the Church. It also organizes retreats and spiritual activities such as parties, outings and conferences.
The Movement is made up of three groups that meet on Saturday at 8 P.M.
